About Beautcia
Nigeria's Booking & Payment App for Beauty Professionals and Wellness Experts

Beautcia is a booking and payment app built for Nigerian beauty and wellness professionals — MUAs, tattoo artists, henna artists, barbers, salon owners, nail techs, lash and brow specialists, and more — to help them stop losing income to no-shows and WhatsApp chaos, by letting clients book appointments and pay deposits upfront, automatically.
Our Story: Why We Built Beautcia
Beautcia didn't start as a business plan. It started with a phone.
Lucky's younger sibling is a makeup artist — one of thousands of talented beauty professionals across Nigeria running an entire business through WhatsApp. Watching her, he saw the same thing happen over and over: a fully booked Saturday that fell apart because three clients didn't show up. Someone promised a deposit they never sent. Hours spent typing the same responses — "Good afternoon, please what time are you free?" — to five different chats, none of them reliable.
And not just the beauty professionals. He saw the stress of having to find professionals for family members who were visiting from outside the state — and even when they got there, the price changed, because it was just a word-of-mouth promise with no real structure or evidence to secure the customer's deposit.
None of that is a personal failure. It's what happens when a market is forced to run a modern service business on a tool that was never built for booking, payments, or scheduling. WhatsApp, TikTok and Instagram DMs are brilliant for conversation. They were never designed to hold a business together.
That gap — between the real talent of Nigerian beauty professionals and the informal tools they're stuck using — is why Beautcia exists.
We're early. We're not the biggest platform in this space yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we are is close to the problem — built by people with real relationships inside this industry, not outsiders guessing at what beauty professionals need.
Who Beautcia Is For
Beautcia serves two groups: beauty and wellness professionals who need reliable booking and payment tools, and their clients who want a simple, trustworthy way to book and pay for appointments.
For beauty professionals
Whether you're a student-preneur doing makeup on the side, a freelance MUA building a name for yourself, or a salon owner managing a full team, Beautcia gives you a booking calendar, deposit collection, and automatic reminders — so your income doesn't depend on people keeping their word in a chat thread.
For clients
Booking a beauty appointment shouldn't mean waiting hours for a WhatsApp reply, or wondering if you've actually secured your slot. With Beautcia, you book, you pay your deposit, you get a reminder. Done. No back-and-forth required.
What Makes Beautcia Different?
Beautcia is built specifically for the realities of the Nigerian beauty and wellness market, not adapted from a foreign scheduling tool.
Most booking software is built for salons in markets where card payments, fixed addresses, and predictable client behavior are the norm. That's not the reality most Nigerian beauty professionals work in. Deposits are cultural, not optional. Trust is earned client by client. And the "system" most professionals currently use — memory, screenshots, and WhatsApp Business — is held together by sheer discipline.
We built Beautcia around that reality instead of ignoring it.
Where Is Beautcia Based?
Beautcia is a Nigerian company, built for the Nigerian beauty and wellness market. We are in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
Our Mission
To give every Nigerian beauty and wellness professional — from the student doing makeup between classes to the salon owner managing a full team — the tools to run their business on their own terms, without losing income to unreliable systems.
Beautcia — built by people who've watched this industry up close, for the professionals who deserve better than a WhatsApp chat as their business system.
